A Listowel resident is facing a sexual assault charge.
Perth County OPP laid the charge in relation to an incident that occurred in North Perth on May 14th.
Police were called to an address on Barber Avenue North, shortly before 8:00 a.m. by a 16 year old victim, who reported that a sexual assault had occurred.
Police opened an investigation, and a 30 year old Listowel resident has been charged with sexual assault, and uttering threats.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
