Police investigating multiple break-ins on same street

South Bruce OPP are investigating multiple overnight break-ins along Paradise Lake Street.

On May 28th at 6:20 am, officers responded to a call of a break-in at a residence on Paradise Lake Street in Kinloss Township. An investigation revealed that sometime between 10:30 pm on May 27th and 5:30 am on May 28th, unknown suspects entered 3 separate properties on Paradise Lake Street.

Stolen items include a 9.9 horsepower Johnson outboard motor, a Yellow/White Pelican Escape 10 kayak, an Eco electric chainsaw, a Microsoft Surface tablet, a Passport Western Digital external drive and a JBL Bluetooth speaker. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $9,000.

Police would like anyone who may have information regarding this string of thefts to contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
