New Grey Bruce OPP officer welcomed

Grey Bruce OPP has welcomed a new recruit to the detachment.

Provincial Constable Nathan Bristowe is originally from Perth County. He studied Police Foundations and completed his Bachelor's Degree in Human Services at Georgian College.

PC Bristowe served with the Canadian Armed Forces before transitioning to a police officer.

Bristowe is an avid outdoor enthusiast and is thrilled to be assigned to the Grey Bruce OPP and looks forward to joining the community.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
