UPDATE: Police solve break-and-enter case near Blyth

**Updated as of 1:10 p.m., June 2, 2020**

A break, enter, and theft in Blyth, reported to Huron OPP, turned out to be a misunderstanding.

Police sent out a release saying they were looking for two persons of interest in a theft on Sunday at home on London Road north of the village.

Now police say the people they had been looking for were given permission by another family member to be in the home and retrieve certain items. The case is now considered solved.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
