Meth seized in Minto

A search warrant at a residence on Inkerman Street in Palmerston resulted in a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia being located and seized. The estimated value of the seized methamphetamine is $8000.

Wellington County and the Huron-Perth Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Units and uniform members launched the search on May 27, 2020, at approximately 6:50 p.m.

As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
