Morris-Turnberry man dies in motorcycle crash

A Morris-Turnberry man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a tractor south of Belmore.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Thursday shortly before 6:49 p.m., the motorcycle was travelling west on Howick-Turnberry Road (Huron County Road 7) near Forest Line, when it crashed into a farm tractor that was towing a manure spreader.

The driver of the motorcycle, 42-year-old Greg Massey of Morris-Turnberry, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Howick-Turnberry Road has been closed between Belmore Line and Gorrie Line to allow police to conduct an investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
