Police investigating break-and-enter theft from local business

South Bruce OPP are investigating a recent theft from a local business.

On June 5th at 8:22 pm, officers received a report of a break-and-enter at a local business in the 600 block of Inglis Street in Lucknow.

Sometime between 6 pm on June 4th and 8 am on June 5th, someone forced their way into the business and stole a number of items. The stolen items include two Orange Echo chainsaws. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be $900.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
