Charged laid following multi-vehicle collision investigation

Perth County OPP have charged a 19-year-old West Perth resident following a recent multi-vehicle collision.

On June 3 just after 11:30 am, Perth County OPP, Perth County Paramedic Services, and the West Perth Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision on Road 179 at Line 46, in the Municipality of West Perth. Officers determined following an investigation that the driver of an SUV rear-ended a delivery van.

The SUV driver, a 19-year-old from West Perth, was taken to local hospital with minor injuries.

The SUV driver has now been charged with careless driving. The accused has a court date scheduled for a later date in Stratford to answer to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
