Owen Sound Police find lost boy

The Owen Sound Police Service was contacted earlier today by a family who was unable to locate their 3-year-old son after playing near the toboggan hill in Harrison Park.

The family was unfamiliar with the area or the terrain of the park, and only spent a short amount of time searching before contacting Police to assist.

Officers immediately responded and began walking hiking trails and searching the bush area, quickly locating the boy who had made his way to the top of the hill and was found along the fence line to a neighbouring farm.

The boy was missing for approximately 1 hour before being located, uninjured.

Credit goes to the family for contacting the Police immediately, which contributed to the successful location of the boy.
