Minto to hold online showcase for this year's Pitch It business contestants

The Town of Minto will be doing something different this year for their Pitch It local business contest.

With COVID-19 forcing town council to be held virtually, the Pitch It organizers will not announce this year's finalists at council.

Instead, they will host a live event on the Town of Minto Facebook page Friday that will feature short commercials for each of the local businesses participating this year and announce the results.

Each business will get its own mini showcase as part of the online event which will be open for the public to view at 7 p.m.

The organizers wanted to ensure each unique local business had an opportunity to receive recognition and support, even in a virtual setting.
