Wellington North improvement program popular

Wellington North's Community Improvement Program is proving to be very popular.

The program injects municipal dollars to help pay for downtown facade improvements.

To date this year 18 applications have been approved valued at $49,000. That money has supported over half-a-million dollars in downtown improvements in Arthur and Mount Forest.

Wellington North Councillor Steve McCabe said the program has spawned a number of great ideas for improving the downtown areas in both communities.
