UPDATE: Tornado warning and watches end

Updated at 6:36 p.m.

Environment Canada was tracking a severe storm and at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, issued a tornado warning for northern areas of Wellington County including Mount Forest and Arthur.

A warning then followed for southern areas of Wellington County including Guelph and Erin.

Those warnings were changed to watches shortly after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. A tornado watch was also issued for Hanover, Dundalk, and southern Grey County.

Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall were all possible.

The severe thunderstorm was tracked between Teviodale and Arthur, moving east at 60 km/h. The storm moved toward Orangeville, Grand Valley, and then further east to the Mississauga and Brampton areas.

Just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, the tornado watches ended.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
