UPDATE: Meaford man found safe

A Meaford man who had been missing since Sunday is now home.

Grey Bruce OPP said 32-year-old Donald Mahaffie was found safe and officers are thanking the public for its assistance.

Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 32-year-old man from Meaford.

The Ontario Provincial Police said Donald Mahaffie was last seen leaving his residence on Centre Street at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.  He was riding a blue Supercycle bicycle at the time.

"OPP officers have spoken to family and friends and have attended places familiar to him but have been unable to locate Donald," police said in a news release. "He is known to go out on his bike but always returns to his residence."

Mahaffie has been diagnosed with Asperger's and autism.

He is described as 6'0" tall, 140 pounds, with a blade head and thin build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans, blue sandals, and a black helmet.
