Saugeen Shores appoints Interim CAO

Saugeen Shores has appointed an Interim Chief Administrative Officer effective September 11, 2020.

Director of Community Services Jayne Jagelewski will fill the role while the recruitment process for a permanent CAO continues.

Current CAO David Smith will move on from his role in September 2020 to pursue a new career opportunity in Port Hope, Ontario.

"I am confident that Director Jagelewski and our senior management team will be able to successfully lead the municipal administration until Council selects a new, permanent CAO," said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
