Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash

South Bruce OPP continue to investigate the cause of a recent fatal motorcycle crash.

On August 25th at 7:42 a.m., police responded to a report of a motorcycle crash along Concession 10 in Elderslie Township. Officers arrived on-scene alongside Grey-Bruce OPP and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and found the motorcycle in the south ditch.

The rider of the motorcycle, 62-year-old Muriel Thaw of Saugeen Shores, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) unit attended to assist the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.

South Bruce OPP is asking anyone with information regarding this crash to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
