Local MPP recognized with provincial award

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP and Associate Minister of Energy Bill Walker is the recipient of the Provincial Public Policy Stewardship award.

The awards from the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council nominates individuals and organizations who demonstrate leadership on the isotope file.

Walker says being recognized for the award is "humbling", and passed along some of the credit to James Scognack, Chair of the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council and Bruce Power's Executive Vice-President, Corporate Affairs and Operational Services, who Walker says "is the person who is leading the isotope initiative".
