Police still investigating recent break-and-enter theft from local business

Huron County OPP continue to investigate a recent break-and-enter theft from a Seaforth business.

On October 3 sometime between 3 a.m. and 3:55 a.m., an individual got through an exterior window and gained entry to the Goderich Street business. Once inside, the thief stole an undisclosed amount of money from cash register floats.

The suspect is described as a male with a smaller build, wearing a dark coloured hoodie, dark pants and grey and black gloves.

Any person with information regarding this theft should immediately contact Huron OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 482-1677. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
