Firearms stolen in Grey County

Thieves made off with two rifles after breaking into a property in Southgate Township.

Grey Bruce OPP report that a residence and a sea container were broken into at a property on Southgate Road 24 sometime between October 10th and October 24th, 2020.

The door to the sea container was pried open and a gun safe was entered. There were two firearms stolen.

Beretta 12 gauge semi-automatic rifle, "Ducks Unlimited" special edition, with a 28" barrel Ruger .22 calibre All Weather 10/22 synthetic black rifle with stainless steel barrel The investigation is continuing.

Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the public's assistance in locating these firearms or anyone connected to this theft.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
