Kincardine budget survey results shared

Residents in Kincardine have offered some insight into what they would like to see in the municipal budget.

The results of a recent survey were shared at the recent Kincardine Council meeting.

122 People responded to a budget survey, and 77% felt that road maintenance was the most important service to the community, followed by managing tax dollars at 75% and infrastructure repairs at 71%.

Of least importance was the airport.  48% felt very satisfied on how well fire services are being delivered, followed by policing at 32%, road maintenance, 30%, and waste management and collection at 29%.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
