Serious collision closes major Huron County Interstection

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police officers remain on scene of a two-vehicle intersection related crash that has taken place east of Bluevale this morning.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and North Huron Fire Department responded to the crash scene located at the intersection of Amberley Road (Huron County #86) and Brussels Line (Huron County #12).

The driver of the car has since been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

One of the occupants from the sport utility vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Amberley Road is currently closed between Harriston Road and Brussels Line. Brussels Line is closed between Jamestown Road and Harriston Road. Please take an alternate route to avoid delays.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
