Local health authorities following contact tracing protocols

The Grey-Bruce Health Unit is still monitoring six cases of COVID-19 after no new cases were reported late Sunday afternoon.

There are also no reported outbreaks in long term care or retirement homes, schools or child care centres.

Huron Perth Public Health is expected to update numbers today but at last check was checking nine active cases in the region. Six of those cases are at a retirement home in Stratford.

In Wellington County, public health is reporting eight active cases with an update expected today.

Across the province, 977 new cases were confirmed on Sunday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
