It happened around 3:45 p.m. near the cemetery.
The suspect is wanted by the Sarnia Police Service but haven't released any other details.
OPP were at the scene until early evening.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
