COVID-19 cases spike in Wellington Dufferin Guelph

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reports eleven new cases of COVID-19 in Wellington County, for a total of 22 active cases. There was also one new fatality reported in Wellington County on the weekend.

Across the Wellington Dufferin Guelph public health region, there were 39 new cases reported Monday, and there are 92 active cases.

Four seniors facilities are under outbreak protocols, but none in Wellington.   Outbreak protocols are in place at the Avalon Long Term Care Home in Orangeville, as well as the Elliot Community Retirement and Long Term Care facilities, and the village of Riverside Glen Retirement Home, all in Guelph.
