COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Midwestern Ontario

Another positive COVID-19 case has been recorded in Grey and Bruce, this time in Kincardine, pushing the active case count to 11.

There is also what's called a preliminary positive and if confirmed will be added to the total.

There are no outbreaks being reported.

In Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph, 11 new cases were reported in Wellington County, pushing the case count to 22.

Overall there are 92 active cases in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph region with three outbreaks in long-term care and retirement homes in Guelph and one in Orangeville.

Huron Perth Public Health recorded its biggest single-day jump in new COVID-19 cases on Monday, with another 34.
