Police investigating mischief in Meaford that caused significant damage

Grey-Bruce OPP are investigating a serious mischief case that caused major damage.

On November 9 at 10:32 a.m., officers were called to a mischief report on Collingwood Street West at St. Vincent Community Centre in the Municipality of Meaford. Staff reported that sometime between 6 p.m. on November 6 and 10 a.m. on November 8, unknown suspects got on the roof of the arena and caused significant damage to two roof lights, and a hood ventilation system was pushed off of its mounts and thrown off of the roof, smashing on the ground below.

The estimated damages total $80,000. Police would like anyone who has any information regarding this crime to contact Grey-Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
