Police said there were two vehicles "involved in an interaction" and one of those vehicles came to a stop in front of the other. As the other vehicle approached a claw hammer was thrown through the front window, hitting a person in the vehicle in the chest. Several people in the vehicle were hit with broken glass.

All were treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
