Owen Sound downtown business receive digital support

The Owen Sound Downtown Improvement area has welcomed a Digital Services Squad to help downtown small businesses improve their online capabilities.

The Federal Economic Development Fund Southern Ontario is paying a trained specialist to help businesses evolve and grow.

Businesses will get free help to set up a Google Business Profile, various social media, and conduct a digital-readiness assessment

Digital communications strategist Heather Travis will be working with eligible businesses until the program's completion at the end of January 2021.

Downtown Owen Sound businesses are encouraged to reach out to Heather to begin their Digital Transformation Audit by emailing digitalOwenSound@gmail.com.
