OPP remind drivers to watch out for deer

South Bruce O-P-P say they have responded to 44 crashes involving deer since November 4th.

With that in mind, they're asking drivers to be especially attentive from sunset to midnight, as well as during the hours shortly before and after sunrise as these are the highest risk times for deer-vehicle collisions.

If you see a deer, slow down and blow your horn with one long blast to frighten the deer away.

....and if you see one deer, there may be others nearby.
