Timber harvest on Kinloss Tract near Lucknow

Kinloss Tract, located northeast of Lucknow, will be closing for a few weeks for timber harvesting operations, beginning on December 7th.

Bruce County, with contractor Collin Gerber, will be harvesting timber in this area to improve forest health as part of the County's forest management plan.

The entirety of this Kinloss Tract property, including all trails and parking lots, will be closed to the public until further notice due to safety concerns.

This Kinloss Tract property is located at Concession 2 Lots 16 and 17, within the Township of Huron-Kinloss.

Operations will continue for a couple of weeks and the property is expected to reopen after all merchantable material has been removed by January of 2021.
