Police charge two people following break-and-enter pursuit

Perth County OPP have charged two people following a recent break-and-enter pursuit in North Perth.

On November 23rd just before 3 a.m., police were called to a report of a break-and-enter in progress at an apartment building on Inkerman Street West in Listowel. The two suspects broke into the laundry room of the apartment building and caused damage to a washing machine. Police arrived moments later and the suspects attempted to flee on foot. One suspect was arrested immediately and the other was located a short time later.

As a result, a 25-year-old and 26-year-old, both from North Perth, are facing multiple charges including break-and-enter and mischief under $5,ooo. The accused parties were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
