GBHU reporting more COVID-19 cases

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 11 news cases of COVID-19 on Friday, (3 – Grey Highlands, 2 – Southgate, 1 – Chatsworth, 1 – Hanover, 1 – Meaford, 1 – Saugeen Shores, 1 – South Bruce Peninsula, 1 – West Grey).

There have been 502 confirmed cases to date, and there are 35 active cases across the region and 19 probable cases. There are 145 High Risk Contacts associated with active cases.

2 confirmed cases are currently hospitalized.

There is currently one outbreak in the region, Normanby Community School in Ayton.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
