COVID-19 cases

There were three new cases of COVID-19 identified in Grey and Bruce Counties yesterday.

Two cases are in West Grey, the other in Huron-Kinloss. The Grey Bruce Health Unit is monitoring 43 active cases and 23 active probable cases. One person is in hospital.

As of Friday, Huron Perth Public Health was monitoring 88 active cases, three outbreaks in long-term care and three outbreaks in retirement homes.

In Wellington County, public health officials say there were 59 active cases as of Friday including one person in hospital.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
