Huron-Kinloss declares "significant weather event"

The Township of Huron-Kinloss has issued a statement regarding some of their local roads and sidewalks.

In a release last night, the Township of Huron-Kinloss says they have declared a "significant weather event" due to all roads and sidewalks maintained by the township being in a "state of repair" until further notice. The township states that the declaration is not an announcement of reduced service or road closures. The statement is simply to make drivers aware and to use an appropriate level of caution when driving in the area for now.

Huron-Kinloss staff are continuing to work to ensure public safety during this significant weather event. More updates will be given when they are needed from the Township of Huron-Kinloss.
