South Huron to discuss housing development Monday

South Huron Mayor George Finch is encouraging interested Exeter residents to sit in on a virtual public meeting on Monday night.

Finch says the meeting is about a proposal for a development on part of the Oakwood Golf Course.

"There's a proposal for a development of housing there in the near future. However there's been no decisions made by South Huron Council," said Finch. "There's a public meeting scheduled currently for February 8th and I encourage everyone who's interested to participate and observe that meeting."

More details about the public meeting can be found on the South Huron website.

The subject lands are currently designated Recreational and Natural Environment in the South Huron Official Plan.
