North Huron ready to move ahead with housing plan

North Huron Reeve Bernie Bailey says they're ready to move ahead with residential development on the former trailer park in Wingham.

Bailey says they're specifically looking for multi-density housing.

"It's been deemed surplus and we're going to put it up for sale. I believe it's 37 houses can be built on that property, again a development we're looking forward to and it'll be multi-density type houses, different types of houses," said Bailey.

Bailey says the area needs affordable housing for people that work locally and are not interested in million dollar houses.
