Two injured in Mitchell residence fire

A Perth County OPP report said the road has been reopened at the scene of a structure fire on St. David St, Mitchell.

The Perth County OPP report said Perth County OPP, West Perth Fire Department, and the Perth County Paramedic Services responded to a fire at a residence on St David Street, Mitchell. just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

The Perth County OPP report said two people have been transported to hospital with non-life-threatening after the fire in the Municipality of West Perth.

The Perth County OPP report said The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal has been consulted, and the Perth County Major Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation.
