Just one new COVID case confirmed in Grey County

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported just one new case of COVID-19 late Sunday.

That was in Owen Sound. There are currently 14 active cases and no outbreaks.

So far, 3,363 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Grey and Bruce.

Huron Perth Public Health and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health are expected to update their statistics from the weekend later this morning.

As of Saturday, there were 21 active COVID-19 cases in Huron and Perth and 17 active cases in Wellington County.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
