UPDATE: Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Monday morning

Updated at 6:10 a.m.

A Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for Huron, Perth, Bruce, Grey and northern parts of Wellington.

The snowfall is expected to be at its heaviest up until 7 Monday morning. Accumulation will be between 5 to 10 cm and then will taper off late this morning.

Wind gusts of 20 to 40 km/h from the west are expected through the morning.

With the snowfall and wind, roads are snow covered and there are drifted sections.

Blowing snow can hamper visibility.

And the heavier morning snow fall has triggered bus cancellations across Huron and Perth and some announcements in Bruce County and northern Wellington.
