Stratford house fire sends three to hospital

Four occupants escaped a burning home in Stratford Tuesday morning.

Stratford Police report officers and Stratford firefighters responded to the active house fire on Borden Street at 11:25 a.m.

Three of the individuals were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A joint investigation is being conducted by Stratford Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office to determine a cause.

Borden street is closed to traffic between Norfolk Street and Bruce Street.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
