Students in Wellington shift back to remote learning on Wednesday

The Medical Officer of Health for Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph is issuing an order that all schools in that region shift to remote learning on Wednesday.

The Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board also provided an update on their websites Wednesday night.

The order is in place from April 7 to April 18. It could be extended further depending on the COVID-19 situation.

Preparations with students will be made Tuesday.

The Spring Break is expected to go ahead next week as planned between April 12 and April 16.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
