Arson investigation underway following second fire on rural property

The Saugeen Shores Police Service is investigating a potential arson following a second fire at a rural property.

On April 7th at 1:38 a.m., Saugeen Shores officers alongside the Saugeen Shores Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a rural address located on Carlisle Street and County Road 3. The fire was contained to a large outbuilding which was completely destroyed. Investigators determined the fire to be suspicious and are looking into the cause of the fire after a second fire took place on the same property back on March 24th of this year. That fire involved a trailer and was also deemed suspicious by investigators.

Saugeen Shores Police Service is asking anyone from the public who may have information regarding these suspected arsons to come forward. If you have any information and wish to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers.
