Bluewater man charged with counsel to commit murder

Huron County provincial police say a 21-year-old man is charged in an incident in Bluewater.

Investigators with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) emergency response team and the West Region OPP regional response team located and arrested a suspect without incident on Wednesday.

The accused is charged with two counts of counsel to commit murder.

Police say there is no threat to public safety.

The accused is to appear in court on April 12 and the charges have yet to be proven in court.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
