Vaccine eligibility expanded

Vaccine eligibility is being expanded in Midwestern Ontario.

Huron Perth Public Health says anyone 65 and older, including those turning 65 this year, are now able to book a vaccine appointment.

You can do so on the Huron Perth Public Health website.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit announced anyone born in 1961 or earlier can get the vaccine. You can book your appointment through the province's online portal.

Anyone without internet access can call the provincial vaccine information line 1-888-999-6488.

People with certain medical conditions are also now eligible and are encouraged to use the local booking system through the Grey Bruce Health Unit's website.
