COVID-19 cases associated with two Grey Bruce schools

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is working with the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board to address a probable case of COVID-19, associated with St. Mary's High School in Owen Sound, and to address a confirmed case of COVID-19, associated with Immaculate Conception School in Formosa. 

One bus route is involved with St Mary's High School, but no busses are involved with Immaculate Conception School.

Those associated with the COVID-19 cases have been contacted directly by the COVID-19 Case and Contact Management Team.

Those NOT contacted by Public Health need not take any additional steps including asymptomatic testing.

As a reminder to the public, if you develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19, please proceed to your nearest assessment centre for testing.

All contact tracing and determination of individual and community risk is made by Public Health.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
