Police seeking witnesses following fail to remain collision that injured pedestrian

Perth County OPP are asking for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen a fail to remain collision that recently injured a pedestrian in West Perth.

On April 9th just after 7:30 p.m., a pedestrian was hit by the passenger side mirror of a white SUV that was travelling westbound on Perth Line 24 near Staffa. The pedestrian received minor injuries as a result, and the driver of the white SUV did not stop to offer assistance and continued driving down Line 24. Police are asking any witnesses or other drivers who may have been in the area or witnessed the collision with possible dash cam footage to come forward. The make and model of the suspect vehicle is unknown.

Anyone with information regarding this collision is encouraged to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
