Huron-Bruce MPP to appear alongside Premier Ford in online chat charging $1,000 per ticket

The Ontario PC Party is hosting a $1,000 per ticket online video chat later this week, and the MPP for Huron-Bruce is scheduled to appear as a speaker.

OntarioPC.ca says Lisa Thompson will join Premier Doug Ford on Thursday night for one hour, which will be "a discussion on the issues facing our province during these challenging times and what our government is doing to help".

Upon learning of the event, Liberal party leader Steven Del Duca called it "farcical", saying the premier should be focused on listening to the Science Table instead.

CKNX has reached out to Lisa Thompson's office for comment on this story.

A notice for the conference, to be held via Zoom, posted on OntarioPC.ca
