Minto asked to put in two more crosswalks in Harriston

Minto will consider a request for two pedestrian crosswalks in the town of Harriston.

Parents Rickson Sharkey and Jessica Decaire  said children are in particular need of the crosswalks for access from the southwest section of town to playgrounds, pool and community centre.

The say the crosswalks will help walkers get across the two main highways that pass through Harriston, which are Highways 23 and 9.

The request is for crosswalks at Elora Street South and Young Street and the second at Arthur Street West and John Street.
