Police continue investigation into fatal crash

The South Bruce OPP are continuing to investigate a fatal crash that recently took place in Greenock Township.

On April 22nd at 8:57 a.m., officers and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a single vehicle collision along Bruce County Road 15 in Greenock Township. Upon arriving, crews discovered the vehicle had struck a tree before coming to rest in the north ditch. 62-year-old Brockton native Donald Woodward was pronounced deceased at the scene. Bruce County Road 15 was closed for an investigation which included assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigation team.

The South Bruce OPP is asking for anyone with information, or who may have witnessed this crash, to come forward and contact them or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
