OPP seek suspects in connection to vehicle damage and theft in North Perth

Perth County OPP are looking for suspects after a theft of tools and mischief to motor vehicles at a business in the Municipality of North Perth.

Police were called on April 19, 2021, shortly after 11:00 p.m., after suspicious activity was observed at a business on Maitland Ave South in Listowel. Further investigation revealed several motor vehicles were damaged, including broken windows, in order to steal tools from inside the vehicles.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), similar to a Ford Escape.

The Perth County OPP would like to remind the public to report any suspicious activity to police immediately, and consider installing security features. Anyone with information regarding this or any incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or online at www.opp.ca/reporting. Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
