Stratford police investigate brazen theft

Stratford police are looking for a suspect, after a person was caught on camera taking items from a Stratford Police Cruiser.

It happened about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday April 24th, while the cruiser was parked in an alley beside police headquarters.

An officer's duty bag was taken, containing things like blank tickets, legal forms and personal items.

The suspect is a white male, with a slim to average build, and a dark goatee. He was wearing a black toque with bright red spikes, a dark jacket and pants.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
